Watercolor Paintings

My artistic style is intricate and deeply personal, shaped both by my life experiences and the unique way I create. Because of my physical limitations from Osteogenesis Imperfecta—also known as Brittle Bone Disease—I paint while lying on my side, a position that has become second nature over years of adapting my craft. This physical perspective influences not only the way I work but also the intimate detail and care that go into every brushstroke.

Growing up in a household where both of my parents were veterinarians, animals have always been an integral part of my world. From the time I could hold a pencil, I was sketching creatures great and small, fascinated by their beauty, individuality, and spirit. Today, that lifelong connection flows naturally into my watercolor paintings. My work is realistic yet not photographic—infused with subtle artistic interpretation that brings each subject to life. I strive to capture the essence of every animal I paint, focusing on their eyes as the windows to their soul. Through those eyes, I hope viewers can feel the same love, respect, and wonder for these creatures that I’ve carried with me all my life.

I sell my original watercolor artwork and prints online, through private, in-home art parties and at artist galleries across the Gulf South. Selective watercolor paintings are available for licensing based on availability. I also do custom pet portraits.
