New Orleans Musicians’ Clinic

The New Orleans Musicians’ Clinic and the New Orleans Musicians Assistance Foundation are two non-profit organizations that work together to provide healthcare to local musicians that normally couldn’t afford it. They often have workshops on topics like how to control diabetes, how to stay hydrated during the festival season in New Orleans, how to keep your blood pressure stable, and on what constitutes a balanced, healthy diet. They partner with several local health groups, including the LSU Health Sciences Center to provide hearing tests, eye exams, mammograms, and other routine procedures to these musicians at little to no cost to them. They even offer alternative treatments, such as acupuncture and Feldenkrais to keep their patients healthy in mind, body, and spirit.

The two organizations often host events to raise money to help their causes in conjunction with local musicians. Several of the promotional flyers, cards, and digital images designed by Katherine are below. Katherine also designs any and all e-blasts that they send out to their supporters and patients, as well as any medical forms needed by the clinic for patients to fill out.
